KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of annual budgets and tactical plans
Monitoring costs against budgets on a monthly basis
Annual review of all staff within the Department.
Preparation and monitoring of team’s individual development plans
Coaching and mentoring team’s members
Technical review of Departmental production (reports, databases, QA/QC of performance indicators
Submission of improvement plans, setting objectives
Management of consultants involved in technical studies
Technical validation of documents needed for permitting (related to environmental matters)
Pré-requis pour ce poste
Knowledge, Training & Experience
Msc Environment degree
10 years relevant work experience, or
5 years work experience in Mining
Full English proficiency, verbal and written
Practical/Specialist Skills: e.g. Keyboard, Software Distribution
Computer literate (Word, Exel, Access, ppt
Basic knowledge of GIS
Understanding of organic & inorganic chemistry
Proficiency in EMS
Demonstrated knowledge of Senegalese environmental regulation
Demonstrated knowledge of International environmental best practices
Team leadership skills
Able to work with little supervision
Team player
Attention to details
